FitTop is a practical navigator for self-coached training. The site helps you choose a gym, start training with a clear program, work out your training weights and track progress — a tool or a concrete answer first, an explanation after.
Who makes FitTop
Material is prepared and published by the FitTop editorial team — the project's editorial team. This is not a physical person but a collective author: every item goes through an editorial process — outline, source collection, draft, fact check and a last-reviewed date on the page.
We state the limits of our competence honestly: the editorial team is not made up of doctors and does not give personal health advice. Author qualifications are described only with verifiable facts, without invented degrees or certificates.
Why the site exists
FitTop answers concrete problems for someone training on their own:
- choose a gym and not discover after paying that it does not suit you;
- understand what to do in your first session;
- pick a starting weight without random risk;
- get a program that fits the days you actually have;
- calculate a training metric quickly and tell whether it is progress.
We are deliberately not a news magazine: an article appears when it has practical value, not because a weekly content plan said so.
What the site does not do
- It is not a medical service. Material does not diagnose, treat or replace a doctor's or rehabilitation specialist's advice. For health conditions, see a qualified professional.
- It is not a personal trainer. Programs are general starting plans for healthy adults, not an individual prescription for your limitations.
- It is not a gym directory or aggregator. We do not collect organisation cards and we do not publish user ratings or reviews.
- It is not a shopfront for affiliate links. Today the site has no advertising and no affiliate programs; if they appear, they will be visually separated and clearly labelled — this is fixed in the editorial policy.
- It is not a social network. There are no accounts, comments or user-generated content.
